PLACEMENT & PLANNING
Before anything goes onto the wall.
Do I need to know exactly where I want everything hung?+
No. Placement and layout advice is included as part of the HanGsy service. We can help determine the right height, position and relationship to furniture, architecture and other pieces before installation begins.
Can you help arrange a gallery wall or collection?+
Yes. HanGsy can help plan the layout, spacing and overall balance of gallery walls and artwork collections before the pieces are installed.
Can you help if I only have a general idea of where something should go?+
Absolutely. Many clients have an idea of the room or wall they would like to use without knowing the exact position. We can work through the placement with you before installation.
Do you install just one artwork or mirror?+
Yes. HanGsy works on everything from a single statement piece to gallery walls, collections, whole-home installations and commercial spaces.
INSTALLATION

What types of items do you install?+
HanGsy installs framed artwork, photographs, canvases, mirrors, gallery walls, collections and other suitable decorative wall pieces.
Can you install large or heavy artwork and mirrors?+
Yes. Large and heavy pieces can be assessed based on the piece itself, its hanging system, weight and the wall surface so an appropriate installation approach can be determined.
What wall types do you work with?+
HanGsy regularly works with common wall types including gyprock, brick and concrete. The wall surface is considered together with the piece and its hanging system before installation.
Do you supply the fixings?+
Yes. The professional fixings required for the installation are supplied as part of the HanGsy service.
Will you use the existing hooks already in my wall?+
Existing hooks or fixings can be assessed, but HanGsy does not assume that an existing fixing is suitable simply because it is already there. The piece, hanging system and wall surface need to be considered before installation.

Do you charge by the hour?+
No. HanGsy provides upfront job pricing rather than charging by the hour. This allows the focus to remain on thoughtful placement and careful installation rather than watching the clock.
How do I get a quote?+
Use the Request a Quote form to tell us what you would like installed, your location and any useful information about the pieces and walls. Photos can also help Angela or Jacob understand the job before providing your quote.
What information should I provide for a quote?+
The most useful information includes the number and type of pieces, approximate sizes where known, your suburb, wall type and photographs of the pieces or installation areas where available.
Can I add other pieces while you are there?+
If you have additional artwork, mirrors or wall pieces you would like installed during the same visit, let us know as early as possible so they can be considered as part of the job.

Do you work in homes and commercial spaces?+
Yes. HanGsy works across residential and commercial spaces, from individual pieces and complete homes to offices, hospitality, retail and other commercial environments.
How do I arrange an installation?+
Start by requesting a quote. Once the job details have been reviewed and the quote accepted, installation arrangements can be confirmed with you.
LARGER PROJECTS

Can you install artwork throughout an entire home?+
Yes. Whole-home installation is one of the HanGsy services, covering artwork, pictures, mirrors and collections across multiple rooms with placement advice included throughout.
Do you work on commercial projects?+
Yes. HanGsy installs artwork, pictures and mirrors in commercial spaces including offices, hospitality, retail and other professional environments across Sydney and the Central Coast.
How is a larger project priced?+
Larger projects are quoted with upfront job pricing rather than an hourly rate, so placement can be considered properly and the installation can progress carefully.
Can a larger installation be completed across more than one visit?+
Where a project is better suited to more than one visit, that can be discussed and confirmed as part of the quote before installation begins.
BEFORE YOUR INSTALLATION
What to have ready on the day.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?+
Having the pieces unwrapped and accessible, and the installation areas clear of furniture or objects where possible, helps the installation run smoothly.
Do I need to supply hooks or fixings?+
No. The professional fixings required for the installation are supplied by HanGsy as part of the service.
Do I need to be home during the installation?+
It helps to have someone available at the start so placement can be confirmed together, and at the end for a final look through the completed rooms.
What if I change my mind about a position on the day?+
That is completely fine. Positions are confirmed with you before anything is installed, so adjustments can be made while we are still planning the placement.
